    • Huawei unveils world’s first triple-folding phone

    Huawei launched its groundbreaking triple-folding phone, the Mate XT, priced at $2,800—over three times the cost of the new iPhone 16. Unveiled by Huawei executive Richard Yu at the company’s Shenzhen headquarters, the phone transforms into a 10.2-inch tablet and weighs 298 grams.

    Despite being targeted at a niche market, over three million people registered interest before its release on September 20. The launch follows Apple’s iPhone 16 announcement, which focuses on AI capabilities. Huawei emphasized the challenges overcome in mass production and product reliability.
