Tehran: The Islamic Republic of Iran and India announced their support for navigation security in the region and the need to avoid expanding the scope of war and maintain maritime security.
This came during a discussion session between Hossein Amir Abdullahian, Iranian Foreign Minister, and his Indian counterpart, Subramaniam Jaishankar, in the Iranian capital, Tehran.
In press statements, the Iranian Foreign Minister confirmed that the discussions dealt with regional and international developments, particularly the ongoing developments in Gaza, the Red Sea, the Caucasus, and Afghanistan
The Indian Foreign Minister explained that New Delhi is concerned about developments in West Asia and looks forward to preventing the escalation of violence.
