Oman’s Al Rawahi Targets Title at Jordan Rally After Injury Return

Muscat: Omani drivers Abdullah Al Rawahi and Zakariya Al Amri will take part in the Jordan International Rally, the third round of the Middle East Rally Championship (MERC), scheduled to be held from 14 to 16 May.

The rally will see the participation of around 17 cars representing 10 countries.

Abdullah Al Rawahi said that the Jordan Rally marks an important stage in his season, noting that he aims to compete for the title this year following his return from injury. He added that his familiarity with the rally stages could support a strong performance.

Meanwhile, Zakariya Al Amri described the Jordan Rally as a valuable competitive experience for drivers, expressing his ambition to secure victory in his category and strengthen his position in the championship standings, particularly after finishing second in his category in the previous round held in Qatar.
