130 aboard Gaza Sumud Flotilla, including Omani citizen, arrive in Jordan

Evacuation of 131 Individuals Completed with Jordanian Coordination

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates announced the safe arrival of a Jordanian citizen and 130 individuals from several allied and friendly countries who were aboard the Global Sumud Flotilla. The group entered Jordan through the King Hussein Bridge after coordinated efforts between Jordanian authorities and international partners.

According to ministry spokesperson Fouad Al-Majali, the evacuated passengers included nationals from Bahrain, Tunisia, Algeria, Oman, Kuwait, Libya, Pakistan, Turkey, Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Colombia, the Czech Republic, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Serbia, South Africa, Switzerland, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Uruguay.

Al-Majali confirmed that the ministry coordinated with relevant Jordanian agencies to ensure smooth passage and to provide necessary logistical and humanitarian support for all arrivals.

Al-Majali added that the chargé d’affaires at the Jordanian Embassy in Tel Aviv had visited the Jordanian nationals detained with the flotilla last Friday to assess their condition and ensure their safety.

He further noted that three Jordanians had been detained, with two already departing via Turkey earlier, while the remaining individual returned as part of the latest group.
