MHD Automobiles Kicks Off Oman’s Off-Road Season with Jeep, RAM, and Alfa Romeo

Muscat: Oman’s off-road season is officially underway as cooler weather sweeps the Sultanate. MHD Automobiles LLC, the authorised distributor of Jeep, RAM, Dodge, and Alfa Romeo, marked the return of outdoor adventures at their roadshow at Bidiyah Sands, one of the nation’s favourite dune destinations.

The event showcased two off-road icons, the Jeep Wrangler Rubicon 392 and RAM 1500 Rebel, drawing adventure enthusiasts and families entering the desert in their thousands. Visitors explored the vehicles up close and interacted with the MHD Automobiles team, experiencing the power, precision, and presence these models deliver.

Vehicles for Every Adventure

The Jeep Wrangler starts at OMR 15,595 for the 2-door Sport. The 2-door variants include the 2.0L Sport and 3.6L Rubicon, while 4-door variants include the 2.0L Sahara, the 3.6L Rubicon, and the legendary 6.4L Rubicon 392 V8, available from OMR 35,995.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 5-seater starts at OMR 17,995, combining comfort with 4×4 capability. Laredo and Limited are available in 5- and 7-seaters, and Overland as a 5-seater, all powered by the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 engine delivering 293 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque.

RAM Trucks offer unmatched strength. The RAM 1500 RHO with a high-output 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine producing 540 horsepower starts at OMR 37,995, with the RAM 1500 Tungsten and RAM 1500 Limited sharing the same engine. The RAM 1500 Warlock, Big Horn, Rebel, and Rebel X feature the standard-output 3.0L Hurricane I6 engine, generating 420 horsepower and 469 lb-ft of torque. The RAM 2500 Tradesman, powered by a 6.4L HEMI® V8 Heavy-Duty engine, is available from OMR 18,995 for a limited time on limited stock.

Alfa Romeo blends style with sporty performance. The Tonale Veloce starts at OMR 13,995. The AWD is equipped with a 2.0L turbo engine producing 256 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The Giulia (RWD) and Stelvio (AWD) feature a 2.0L turbo engine producing 280 horsepower and 306 lb-ft of torque, while the Giulia Quadrifoglio and Stelvio Quadrifoglio use a 2.9L twin-turbo V6 engine producing 505 horsepower and 443 lb-ft of torque.
