MSX 30 Rises 0.6% as Trading Value Reaches RO 46.78 Million
Muscat: The MSX 30 Index of the Muscat Stock Exchange closed today at 7,577.85 points, gaining 45.32 points, or 0.60 percent, compared with the previous session’s close of 7,532.53 points.
Trading value increased by 9.9 percent to reach RO 46.779 million, compared with RO 42.578 million in the previous session, according to the Muscat Stock Exchange’s daily report.
Market capitalization also increased by 0.50 percent, reaching approximately RO 38.51 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 5.560 million, representing 11.89 percent of total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 8.098 million, or 17.31 percent.
As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of approximately RO 2.538 million, equivalent to 5.42 percent of total trading value.
