Oman Secures 131-Run Victory Over Singapore in 2026 Men’s Asia Cup
Kuala Lumpur: The Oman national cricket team began its campaign in Group II of the 2026 Men’s Asia Cup with a convincing 131-run victory over Singapore at the Bayuemas Oval in Malaysia today.
The victory earned Oman its first two points of the tournament and strengthened the team’s prospects of competing for qualification to the 2027 Asia Cup.
Oman will play its second group-stage match against Qatar on Wednesday in Bandar Penawar, Malaysia.
The national team will then face Kuwait on September 5 before concluding its group-stage fixtures against the United Arab Emirates on September 8.
The team will seek to build on its opening victory and secure further points in its remaining matches as it continues its bid for qualification.
