Oman, Germany Discuss Freedom of Navigation in Strait of Hormuz and Red Sea
Muscat: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, received a telephone call from Dr. Johann Wadephul, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Federal Republic of Germany.
The two ministers discussed a number of regional issues of common interest and exchanged views on efforts to restore freedom of navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and the Red Sea.
They also discussed efforts aimed at reducing tension and escalation, with a view to supporting regional security and stability.
