Oman Health Exhibition & Conference 2026 Opens in Muscat, Advancing Healthcare Innovation and Collaboration

Muscat : The Oman Health Exhibition & Conference (OHEC) 2026 opened today at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), bringing together healthcare leaders, policymakers, industry professionals, investors, researchers and innovators for three days of dialogue, knowledge exchange and business collaboration aimed at supporting the continued development of Oman’s healthcare sector.

Hosted by the Ministry of Health, the 2026 edition was inaugurated in the presence of His Excellency Dr. Ahmed bin Salim Al-Mandhari, Undersecretary for Planning and Health Regulation, Ministry of Health, Sultanate of Oman, as the Chief Guest.

The opening proceedings commenced with the inauguration and welcome remarks, followed by a presentation titled “The Advantage of Oman as a Health Tourism Destination” by Majid Zangooei, Secretary General of the Health Tourism Development Center of Islamic Countries (HTDC). His Excellency was presented with a token of appreciation before undertaking an official tour of the Oman Health Exhibition, where participating organizations showcased healthcare solutions, technologies, products and services.

Aligned with the healthcare priorities of Oman Vision 2040, OHEC 2026 places particular emphasis on strengthening Oman’s healthcare ecosystem through medical and health tourism, clinical innovation and localization, preventive healthcare, occupational health, sustainable investment, pharmaceuticals and MedTech. The conference programme focuses on establishing Oman as a regional medical tourism hub, fostering sustainable care and investment, driving clinical innovation and localisation, and promoting proactive models of healthcare.

The 2026 edition is strengthened by the support of a broad network of government and private-sector stakeholders, strategic partners and sponsors. Key supporters include the Ministry of Health and the Research and Innovation Authority, alongside Sohar International Bank as Main Sponsor, Madayn as Registration Sponsor, and Development Bank as Gold Sponsor, reflecting a shared commitment to advancing healthcare innovation, investment and collaboration in Oman. The list of strategic partners includes the Athar Health Endowment Foundation, the Health Tourism Development Centre for Islamic Countries, the National Travel Operator platform, and the Oman Energy Association (OPAL). Oman Health Exhibition & Conference 2026 continues until 23 September 2026 at the Oman Convention & Exhibition Centre (OCEC), Muscat. The exhibition is open to visitors from 11:00 AM to 9:00 PM across all three days, offering healthcare professionals, industry stakeholders and the wider community the opportunity to explore healthcare solutions, technologies, products and services while connecting with participating organisations from Oman and international markets.
