    Oman Football Team Continues Preparations Under Tarik Sektioui

    Muscat:  The Oman national football team continues its short domestic training camp in Muscat, which runs until 23 April 2026, under the supervision of head coach Tarik Sektioui, as part of preparations for upcoming international fixtures.

    The camp includes 28 players from local clubs, with the absence of several overseas professionals and players engaged in Asian club competitions. This has provided the technical staff with an opportunity to assess new players and expand the selection pool.

    The squad features a number of first-time call-ups alongside returning players, as the coaching staff evaluates their physical condition and technical readiness ahead of future matches.

    Training sessions focus on improving fitness levels, developing tactical performance and giving playing time to a wider group of players, in preparation for the next phase, including friendly matches scheduled during the FIFA international window in early June.

    The technical staff has also intensified its follow-up of domestic league matches in recent weeks to monitor players closely and select the most ready elements for the national team.
