Oman national shooting wins third place in Asian Rifle/Pistol Championship 2024 Jakarta

Jakarta: The national shooting team won third place in the “50-meter rifle” competition, achieving a bronze medal, as part of its participation in the Asian Championship for shooting with bullet and air weapons in the Indonesian capital, Jakarta.

In the same competition, international shooter Hamad bin Saeed Al Khatri achieved third place at the individual level, winning the bronze medal. This external participation of the National Shooting Team comes within the framework of the rehabilitation and training plans pursued by the Sultan’s Armed Forces to compete for military sports titles, enhance the level of sports performance, physical fitness, and technical skills, and maintain the high level of the national teams that represent the Sultanate of Oman in regional and international forums.
