Audi EV models serves as the blueprint for sustainable premium mobility. We anticipate a huge demand for electric cars in Oman and the curiosity we see around the electric cars bodes well for Audi Oman’s future strategy of bringing more electric vehicles to the country. In this context we are delighted to host this comprehensive workshop.”

He added, “We appreciate Ministry of CommerceIndustry and Investment Promotion’s interest and encouragement and thank them for supporting the workshop on the ‘Future of EV’ which highlighted sustained mobility.”

The company’s clear commitment to electric mobility is also apparent in its capital expenditure planning: based on plans approved at the end of 2021, Audi will spend about €18 billion on electrification and hybridization between 2022 and 2026. With total investments of around €37 billion, that means that almost half will go toward these two forward-looking fields.
