    Oman–UAE Consultations Address Regional Developments

    Abu Dhabi: Sayyid Badr bin Hamad Al Busaidi, Foreign Minister, held fraternal consultations today with Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates (UAE), during a meeting in Abu Dhabi.

    The discussions reviewed a number of recent regional developments and issues of mutual concern, and explored avenues for constructive engagement. The talks fall within ongoing efforts to build consensus and formulate effective approaches that contribute to strengthening collective security and regional stability, safeguarding shared interests, and fulfilling the aspirations of the peoples of the region.

    Both sides reaffirmed their firm commitment to the path of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and joint Gulf action. They emphasized the importance of continuing bilateral and collective cooperation programmes in line with the enlightened visions and wise directives of Their Majesties and Highnesses, the leaders of the GCC states.
