Islamabad: Shehbaz Sharif, the chairman of the PML-N party (Pakistan Muslim League – N) has been elected as the new prime minister of Pakistan, the PTV News channel reported today.
According to PTV News report, Sharif “secured two hundred and one votes” while Sunni Ittehad Council’s candidate Omar Ayub Khan bagged ninety-two votes.”
