UAE President Shares National Day Message as Country Prepares for “Year of the Family”

Abu Dhabi: President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan conveyed warm congratulations to the citizens and residents of the United Arab Emirates on the occasion of the country’s 54th National Day (Eid Al Etihad).

His Highness shared photographs of his extended family as they celebrated the UAE’s founding anniversary—an occasion that coincides this year with the national declaration of 2026 as the “Year of the Family,” an initiative aimed at strengthening family cohesion and reinforcing societal values.

In a message addressed to all who call the UAE home, His Highness said:
“To the people of the UAE, both citizens and residents alike, I congratulate you on the occasion of the 54th Eid Al Etihad and extend my sincere thanks for your contribution to our nation’s ongoing development.”
