Vodafone Oman: Digital Capability Strengthens Oman’s Proposition To Live, Work And Invest

Muscat, 3 October 2026 – Oman’s next phase of digital development is strengthening the country’s proposition as a place to live, work and invest, Vodafone Oman’s Chief Executive Officer Eng. Bader Al Zidi said during the official opening of Live Oman in London. Addressing government and business leaders during the Partners’ Perspectives segment, Eng. Al Zidi highlighted Oman’s progress from establishing strong digital foundations towards applying them across economic sectors, public services and business activity.

In Oman, the National Digital Economy Program is building on the progress already made in government digital transformation, with its next phase focused on digitising promising economic sectors, expanding digital services and increasing their contribution to national growth.

Eng. Al Zidi said: “Oman has built strong digital foundations for its next phase of growth. The opportunity now lies in what those foundations enable: better services, stronger businesses and new possibilities across the economy. Connectivity delivers its greatest value when people and organisations can use it to move their ambitions forward.  People and businesses considering their future in Oman are looking at the complete proposition: the opportunities available, the services around them and the environment in which they can operate and grow. Oman’s digital progress is an increasingly important part of that proposition.”

Eng. Al Zidi went on to add, “At Vodafone Oman, we connect for a better future. Our role goes beyond bringing people onto a network. It is about combining connectivity and technology in ways that help individuals, businesses and communities achieve more.”

Led by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Planning, Live Oman brings together national partners to present the Sultanate as a place to live, work, build and invest. Vodafone Oman’s role combines the sector perspective set out by Eng. Al Zidi with practical support for the campaign within the Sultanate. Through its communications channels, connectivity capabilities, marketing experience and relationships, the company has brought the campaign to its customers and partners in Oman, while providing connectivity support to members of the Live Oman team travelling to London.
