Oil Prices Inch Up as Peace Talks Stall, Supply Risks Grow
Beijing: Oil prices inched higher today after Ukrainian attacks on Russian oil infrastructure raised concerns over potential supply disruptions, while stalled peace negotiations dampened expectations of any near-term agreement that could restore Russian crude flows to global markets.
Brent crude futures rose 14 cents, or 0.22 percent, to USD 62.81 per barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude gained 16 cents, or 0.27 percent, to USD 59.11 per barrel.
