US Dollar Maintains Strength in Asian Trading
Tokyo: The US dollar maintained its overnight gains against major currencies during Asian trading today.
The dollar steadied at $1.1685 per euro, following a 0.3 percent rebound in the previous session. It was also little changed at 0.7953 Swiss franc after jumping 0.7 percent overnight.
Meanwhile, the risk-sensitive Australian dollar rose 0.4 percent to $0.6791, its highest level since October 2024.
The US dollar climbed to 107.52 yen, marking its strongest level since July 2024. The Japanese yen was largely steady against most major currencies in Asian trading, standing at 184.83 per euro.
