Gold Prices Rise on Weaker Dollar and Lower Oil Prices
Singapore: Gold prices rose today, supported by lower crude oil prices and a weaker US dollar.
Spot gold increased by 0.4 percent to $4,450.16 per ounce, while US gold futures for August delivery gained 0.2 percent to reach $4,477 per ounce.
Among other precious metals, spot silver rose 0.8 percent to $73.26 per ounce. Platinum gained 0.2 percent to $1,863.25 per ounce, while palladium advanced 0.5 percent to $1,307.67 per ounce.
