Gold Prices Hold Steady Near Two-Month Low

Singapore: Gold prices remained largely unchanged in trading today, with spot gold holding near its lowest level in more than two months.

Spot gold was trading at $4,332.50 per ounce, close to the level recorded during the previous session.

Meanwhile, US gold futures for August delivery slipped by 0.1 percent to $4,357.10 per ounce.

Among other precious metals, spot silver declined by 0.7 percent to $67.71 per ounce, while platinum fell by 0.2 percent to $1,751.39 per ounce.

In contrast, palladium recorded gains of 0.8 percent, reaching $1,213.89 per ounce.

Market participants continue to monitor global economic developments and monetary policy expectations, which remain key factors influencing movements in precious metal prices.
