    • Oman chairs 27th Session of AIDSMO’s General Assembly Meeting in Rabat

    Rabat: The Sultanate of Oman chaired the meetings of the 27th session General Assembly of the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDSMO) at the ministerial level in the Moroccan capital, Rabat on Thursday.

    During the meetings, a number of topics related to joint Arab action in the industrial and mining fields, as well as unified specifications and standards for member states, were approved.

    “The organization is working to improve performance and implement programs and activities that keep pace with the developments and regional and international economic changes in a way that meets the aspirations of Arab members stats, said Adel Al-Sager (AIDSMO) 

    The Sultanate of Oman delegation to the meeting is headed by Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al Barami, the Sultanate of Oman’s ambassador to the Kingdom of Morocco.

    His Excellency stressed the importance of Arab cooperation and integration to keep pace with industrial and technological developments; Which will open wide horizons for Arab youth for creativity, development and advancement for the better.

    He added that recent years, especially during the Corona pandemic, have demonstrated the importance of focusing on food and drug security, and this is what calls us to pay attention to the food and pharmaceutical industries through cooperation and integration between the relevant institutions in the Arab countries.
