Abu Dhabi: The Ministry of Information, represented by Oman News Agency (ONA), participated in the 49th General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA), which began at Abu Dhabi today.
The two-day conference, which brings 14 Arab news agencies together, discusses the development of media institutions, FANA’s training plan for the next three years (2022-2025), relations between Arab and European news agencies and the signing of cooperation agreements with regional news organizations and agencies. It also covers scopes for cooperation between the Secretariat General of FANA and the Arab League.
The conference also included a dialogue session on expanding relations between Arab and European news agencies and exploring ways of upgrading cooperation in the field of exchange of news and expertise in news-related technical fields.
