Cairo: The Sultanate of Oman is taking part in the Public-private Partnerships (PPP) MENA Forum, held in Cairo, Egypt.
The participation is aimed at highlighting Oman’s experience with the PPP programme, as well as to benefit from international experiences in this field.
The PPP Mena Forum aims to launch new and innovative partnerships that drive social and economic growth in the region. It also discusses effective policies for PPP projects in infrastructure.
The forum also covers a spectrum of topics, namely reviewing the mechanism of transforming PPP projects to green economy, among other topics.
Moreover, the Ministry of Finance awards PPP projects for the establishment, financing and preparation of infrastructure projects for public entities and facilities. Further, PPP’s can be awarded to manage and operate projects. – ONA
