Muscat: Emirates Airline announces on Wednesday suspension of flight from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri lanka extended until August 7, said in its travel update on the website.
Also said, passengers who have transited through these countries in the last 14 days will not be allowed to travel from any other destination to the UAE, the airline added in the statement.
UAE citizens, holders of UAE Golden Visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with update Covid-19 protocols are exempt and may be accepted for travel.
Emirates said, Our Contact Centres are experiencing “a greater volume of calls than anticipated” and urged passengers whose calls did not relate to travel within the next 48 hours to consider calling back later.
