Oil Prices Rise on US Supply Concerns
New York: Oil prices rose today amid ongoing concerns over supply disruptions caused by a winter storm that affected crude oil production and exports in the United States.
Brent crude futures gained 28 cents, or 0.4 percent, to reach USD 67.85 per barrel, while US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude rose 35 cents, or 0.6 percent, to USD 62.74 per barrel. Both benchmarks recorded gains of around 3 percent in the previous session on Tuesday.
