Gold Falls 0.2% While Silver and Platinum Extend Losses
New York: Gold and silver prices declined today amid a rise in the US dollar.
Spot gold fell by 0.2 percent to $4,807.91 per ounce, extending losses recorded in the previous session, when it reached its lowest level since April 13, 2026. US gold futures for June delivery stabilized at $4,827.30 per ounce.
Silver declined by 0.6 percent to $79.40 per ounce, while platinum fell by 0.7 percent to $2,074.00. Palladium, however, rose by 0.3 percent to $1,556.16 per ounce.
