Gold Futures Rise Despite Broader Precious Metals Weakness
Singapore: Gold regained some ground today after posting a 1% decline in the previous session.
Spot gold edged up 0.1% to $4,212.50 per ounce, recovering slightly after yesterday’s sharp drop.
US gold futures for December delivery rose 0.7% to $4,250.80 per ounce.
Elsewhere in precious metals trading, silver slipped 0.2% to $58.32 per ounce, platinum decreased 0.4% to $1,631.10, and palladium fell 0.6% to $1,458.83.
