Gold Recovers from Monthly Low as US Dollar Weakens
Singapore: Gold prices rebounded today after hitting a one-month low in the previous session, supported by a weaker US dollar, despite rising oil prices and ongoing concerns about inflation and interest rates.
Spot gold rose by 0.6 percent to $4,566.73 per ounce, after declining to its lowest level since 31 March 2026 yesterday.
US gold futures for June delivery increased by 0.4 percent to $4,578.50.
Among other precious metals, spot silver gained 1 percent to $72.18 per ounce, platinum rose by 1.7 percent to $1,911, and palladium increased by 0.9 percent to $1,470.40.
