Indian Minister Muraleedharan to Visit Kuwait from August 23

Kuwait: Indian Minister of State for External Affairs and Parliamentary Affairs, V. Muraleedharan to pay an official visit to Kuwait from 23-24 August 2023. This will be his 2nd official visit as Minister of State for External Affairs to Kuwait, a press release issued by MEA said.

During the visit, Muraleedharan will hold high level discussions with Kuwaiti Ministers and dignitaries.

He will also interact with various Indian community organisations and a wide cross-section of members of community including from the fields of business, health, education and other professionals, India and Kuwait share historically warm and close bilateral ties, the release said.

There are around 1 million Indians in Kuwait. India is amongst the largest trading partners of Kuwait and the Gulf country is a major supplier of oil

The bilateral trade reached on all-time high of USD 13.8 billion in the last financial year.

The visit is expected to further deepen the strong partnership between the two countries, the release added.
