List of countries announced First day of Ramadan 2022 on Saturday

Some countries have announced the first day of the holy month of Ramandan on Saturday.

Muscat: Saturday was confirmed the first day of Ramadan in Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, UAE, Iraq, Yemen, Somalia, Egypt,  Albania, Armenia, Australia, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bolivia, Bulgaria, Burkina Faso, Chechnia, Denmark, Finland, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kuwait, Kyrgizstan, Lebanon, Mauritania, Netherlands, Palestine, Qatar, Romania, Russia, Singapore, Sudan, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Taiwan, Tajikistan,Tatarstan, Togo, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.

While the Sultanate of Oman announced that Sunday will be the first day of the blessed month of Ramadan, after investigating the crescent of the month of Ramadan, and that Saturday completes the month of Shaban.

The Sultanate of Brunei confirmed that the crescent moon was not signted in the country on Friday, therefore, officials said Saturday, April 2, would be the last day of the month of Shaaban, and the holy month will begin from Sunday 3 April 2022.

Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia also announced that the first day of the holy month would be April 3.
