Singapore: Oil prices rose by more than one percent in early trading today amid escalating developments in the Middle East conflict.
Brent crude futures increased by $1.36, or 1.24 percent, reaching $110.62 per barrel.
US West Texas Intermediate crude futures also rose by $1.84, or 1.75 percent, to $107.26 per barrel.
The rise comes amid market concerns over potential impacts on global energy supplies following heightened regional tensions.
