Oman-Iran trade exceeds $1 billion

Tehran: Iran and the Sultanate of Oman trade set a new record in the last Persian year March 2021 – March 2022 with a 53% increased to 1.336 billion dollars compared to the year before. IRNA

In a report published by the Islamic Republic News Agency IRNA said: Head of Iran-Oman Commerce Chamber Mohsen Zarrabi said that Iran’s export to Oman amounted to 438 million dollars in the Persian year 1399 (March 2020-March 2021), while the value was 716 million dollars the next year (March 2021-March 2022) which indicates a 63% increase.

Zarrabi said that the numbers were unprecedented in the last 20 years, as the current administration in Iran taking office last year has doubled supporting the private sector, the report said.
