Oman took part in Investopia Summit at Expo 2020

Dubai: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Investment Promotion, took part in the Investopia Summit, held at Expo 2020 Dubai today.

The Summit aims to launch 100 innovative ideas and business opportunities in the region and beyond.

Oman’s delegation in the event was headed by Asilah Salim Al Samsami, Undersecretary for Investment Promotion.

Investopia Summit included several programmes and forums that cover a wide range of topics, namely on the prospects of international investments till 2025, the Metaverse and the new opportunities it brings to investors, among other topics.

During the summit, efforts were exerted towards building quality investment partnerships and enhancing investment cooperation between Oman and other countries, as well as benefitting from expertise and international visions in economic growth, innovation and technological revolution.

The summit focused on several key areas that included investing responsibly, sustainable investment, investing in digital transformation and the technological revolution in e-commerce, digital supply chains and distance learning.
