Qatar Chamber Chairman Sheikh Khalifa bin Jassim Al Thani, received H.E. Asila bint Salim Al Samsami, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Commerce Industry and Investment Promotion of Oman at the Chamber’s headquarters on Tuesday.
The meeting was attended by QC Board member Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani and Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman to the State of Qatar H E Najib bin Yahya Al Balushi. The meeting reviewed fields of joint economic and commercial cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
Sheikh Khaifa praised the level of cooperation between the Qatari private sector with its Omani counterpart which. Oman topped destinations that received exports by Qatari private sector in 2021, noting that the two countries’ trade volume reached last year nearly QR4.5bn.
HE Aseela bint Salem Al Samsami paid tribute to the deep relation between the two brotherly countries, stressing the importance to further cement commercial cooperation between both sides, especially at the level of the private sector.
