Pakistan announced T20 World Cup Squad , first match against India

ICC Cricket World Cup 2021: Pakistan on Monday announced the squad for the upcoming T20 world cup. Veteran players like Shoaib Malik and Sarfaraz Ahmed who captained in 2007 and 2016 T20 World Cup respectively , did not get a chance in the squad. Babar Azam Captain will lead the team.

Pakistan team would be playing its first match against India in the T20 World Cup, which is schedule for October 24, Apart from India, Pakistan will play New Zealand, Afghanistan and the other qualifying team in the group stages of the World Cup.

ICC has set September 10, 2021 deadline for all countries to announced their teams for the 2021 T20 World Cup that is to be played in the UAE and Oman.

Babar Azam (C), Asif Ali, Khushdil Shah, Mohammad Hafeez, Sohaib Maqsood, Azam khan, Mohammad Rizwan, Imad Wasim, Mohammad Nawaz, Mohammad Wasim, Shadab Khan, Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, Mohammad Hasnain, Shaheen Shah Afridi,

Travelling reserves : Fakhar Zaman, Shahnawaz Dahani, Usman, Qadir.
