Muscat: The Sultanate of Oman, represented by the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO) and the Maritime Security Center (MSC), took part in the International Maritime Exercise 2023 (IMX23).
The exercise was conducted in Oman’s regional waters during the period from 26 February to 16 March 2023 with the participation of several Arab and Foreign countries, as well as authorities and organizations concerned with maritime security.
IMX23 aims to enhance cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the field of maritime safety in the Arabian Gulf, Sea of Oman and the Arabian Sea. It also targets developing mechanisms of communication and exchanging expertise among the exercise’s participants. – ONA
