Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX 30) index closed today at 8,360.87 points, down by 8.6 points, or 0.10 percent, compared to the previous session.

Trading value declined to RO 77.5 million, marking a decrease of 12.4 percent from the last session’s total of RO 88.5 million, according to the MSX report.

Market capitalisation recorded a slight increase of 0.018 percent, reaching approximately RO 38.44 billion.

Non-Omani investors accounted for 9.82 percent of total trading value, with purchases amounting to RO 7.61 million and sales at RO 7.39 million.

Net non-Omani investment rose by RO 218,000, representing an increase of 0.28 percent.
