UAE Minister of Health receives first dose of Covid-19 vaccine

Abu Dhabi: His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Muhammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention received the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

His Excellency said that by presenting this vaccine, we seek to provide all safety means for the frontline workers and to protect them from any dangers that they may face due to the nature of their work, stressing that it fully and completely complies with the regulations and laws that allow a faster review of licensing procedures, after positive results of clinical trials emerged. Conducted by the health sector in the country, explaining that the vaccine is safe and effective, and will contribute to reducing the losses caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and saving lives.

The UAE has authorized the emergency use of the Covid-19 vaccine to make it available to the groups most dealing with infected people from the frontline workers, with the aim of providing all safety and security means and protecting them from any dangers that they may face due to the nature of their work.
