The Qatar’s ministry of interior announces during a press conference on Wednesday 21 September 2022, the suspension of visit visa issuance during the FIFA World Cup 2022 period from 1 November 2022 and resume on December 23, 2022.
These will also includes visitors through air, land and marine borders, allowing only Hayya Card Holders and other conditional categories will be allowed into Qatar during the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 and they can stay in the country until January 23, 2022.

The categories exempted from the suspension of entry from November 1 – December 23, 2022 follows:
Qatari citizens, residents and Gulf citizens holding Qatari ID card
Holders of personal requirement visas and work entry permits.
Humanitarian cases through the airport (in accordance of approval from the official application platform)
