Himam Trail Race Kicks Off with Grueling 120 km Al Hajar Ultra
Muscat: The Himam Trail Race 2025 will commence next Thursday, 11 December, in A’Dakhiliyah Governorate, with more than 4,500 runners from 68 countries set to compete.
The opening day features the Al Hajar Ultra, a 120-kilometre race that begins in the Wilayat of Al Hamra and follows historical mountain paths before ascending Al Jabal Al Akhdar (the Green Mountain) and concluding at the race village in Birkat Al Mouz, Wilayat of Nizwa. The course is regarded as one of the most demanding due to its geological diversity, environmental variation, and significant elevation changes.
