Sports Day for Persons with Disabilities Held in Sohar

Sohar: The Directorate General of Culture, Sports and Youth in North Al Batinah Governorate today organized activities marking the Sports Day for Persons with Disabilities at Sohar Sports Complex, held as part of the accompanying events of the 6th Annual Festival for Persons with Disabilities.

The event witnessed the participation of a number of persons with disabilities from Al Wafa Rehabilitation Centers in the governorate’s wilayats, the Children’s Association for Persons with Disabilities in Saham, as well as students enrolled in auditory and intellectual integration classes under the Directorate General of Education in North Al Batinah.

The activities aimed to foster the abilities and talents of the participating groups, support their engagement in sports, and promote their integration within the community through physical activity as a tool for empowerment and self-expression.
