Oman Qualifies for FIFAe World Cup Rocket League Finals in Riyadh

Major Milestone as Oman Reaches FIFAe World Cup Rocket League Finals

Muscat: The National Esports Team has qualified for the FIFAe World Cup Finals in the game Rocket League, scheduled to be held in Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, from 15 to 19 December.

This qualification marks a significant milestone in the development of the Esports sector in the Sultanate of Oman. It reflects the rapid growth the sector is witnessing and the continued support extended to young Omani talents to compete at international levels.

The team consists of Sultan Al Balushi, Amjad Al Zadjali, and Abdullah Al Amri—all of whom are ranked within the top 0.01 percent of global Rocket League players. The team underwent an intensive professional training program under the supervision of coach Abdullah Al Atiqi.

The qualification followed the team’s participation in the official West Asia Regional Qualifiers, during which they secured a decisive victory over the Jordanian National Team, in addition to achieving a series of strong results in local, regional, and international tournaments. These accomplishments ensured their place among the top 16 national teams worldwide in the FIFAe World Cup Finals.
