Elite Horses Compete in Eighth-Race Event at Barkaa
Barka: The Oman Equestrian and Racing Federation organized today the 13th horse race of the 2025/2026 racing season at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barkaa, featuring the participation of an elite group of purebred Arabian and mixed-breed horses.
The race day comprised eight races, which witnessed strong competition among the participating horses and owners.
In the first race (Iraqi Race), the horse Abriz SP secured first place for its owner Saad bin Suhail Al-Mukhaini.
The second race (Al-Waqba Race) saw Bantout EZ, owned by Qais bin Saud Al-Zakwani, claim first place.
In the third race (Al-Hajr Race), Ibraz Malik, owned by Mohammed bin Abdullah bin Abdulrahman, took the top position.
The fourth race (Kabara Race) was won by Muheeb Al-Kamil, owned by Ali bin Hamad Al-Hashemi.
In the fifth race (Hajirmat Race), Rabeh N. S, owned by Nasser bin Salem Al Sarhi, finished first.
The sixth race (Al Dariz Race) was won by Weraz The Waya, owned by Musa bin Mohammed Al Balushi.
The seventh race (Maqniyat Race) saw Persian Royal, owned by Shabeeb bin Nasser Al Yazidi, secure first place.
The eighth and final race (Slaif Race) was claimed by AJS Sarhan, owned by Majid bin Ali Al Maamari.
