Oman Equestrian Federation Holds 14th Horse Racing Event of the Season
Barka, 29 Jan 2026 (ONA) — The Oman Equestrian Federation today held the 14th horse racing event of the 2025–2026 season at Al Rahba Racecourse in the Wilayat of Barka, South Al Batinah Governorate.
The event comprised eight races and featured strong competition among a select group of Arabian and thoroughbred horses, attracting wide interest from owners, trainers, and racing enthusiasts.
The winners of the races were as follows:

First race: Nawadir Al Faisal, owned by Abdullah Saif Al Araimi

Second race: Great Alaska, owned by Naji Khamis Al Araimi

Third race: Dhubyan, owned by Saad Suhail Al Makhini

Fourth race: Ihtiraz, owned by Abdullah Amer Al Hajri

Fifth race: Sareh Manlo, owned by Abdullah Amer Al Hajri

Sixth race: Ridha Majan, owned by Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Sunaidi

Seventh race: Sajee Al Zaman, owned by Khalid Mohammed

Eighth race: Madour, owned by Anwar Salim Al Mahri
The races form part of the Federation’s seasonal programme aimed at promoting equestrian sports, preserving horse-racing heritage, and supporting horse owners and breeders across the Sultanate of Oman.
