Israeli Airstrikes Target Southern and Eastern Lebanon

Beirut: Israeli occupation forces carried out a series of airstrikes and incursions across eastern and southern Lebanon, targeting multiple locations, according to Lebanese official sources.

Lebanon’s National News Agency (NNA) reported that an airstrike hit a house in Sidon, while Israeli forces conducted a raid in the town of Halta in the Arqoub region, during which several homes were stormed, gunfire was reported and one person was detained before forces withdrew.

In separate incidents, a drone strike targeted the town of Harouf in Nabatieh district, while air raids on Kfar Tibnit resulted in one fatality and several injuries.

In eastern Lebanon, two airstrikes hit the outskirts of Shamshtar west of Baalbek, while additional strikes targeted mountainous areas in Shaara and Hermel.

According to official figures, the death toll from Israeli strikes on Lebanon since March 2 has reached 1,039, with 2,876 people injured.
