Gulf defenses intercept and destroy a number of drones and missiles

Capitals: Several Gulf countries reported intercepting and destroying drones and missiles over the past 24 hours amid ongoing regional developments.

The Saudi Ministry of Defense announced the interception and destruction of 10 drones in recent hours, in addition to two drones intercepted earlier.

In Kuwait, the Ministry of Defense confirmed that its air defense systems intercepted incoming missiles and hostile drones, noting that sounds heard were the result of these defensive operations. The Kuwaiti National Guard also reported shooting down four drones within its areas of responsibility.

In the United Arab Emirates, the Ministry of Defense stated that its air defenses responded to missile and drone threats, adding that sounds heard across parts of the country were linked to the interception of ballistic and cruise missiles, as well as drones.
