MSX 30 Index Closes Lower at 7,487 Points
Muscat: Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” Index closed today at 7,487.52 points, down by 261.5 points, or 3.374 percent, compared to the previous session’s close of 7,748.98 points.
The trading value reached RO 78.29 million, recording an increase of 39.7 percent compared to the previous trading session, which stood at RO 56.04 million.
According to the report issued by Muscat Stock Exchange, the market capitalization declined by 1.501 percent to approximately RO 36.35 billion.
Non-Omani investors purchased shares worth RO 38.84 million, representing 49.61 percent of total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 49.75 million, accounting for 63.54 percent of total trading activity.
Net non-Omani investment recorded a decrease of RO 10.91 million, representing a decline of 13.93 percent.
