MSX 30 Index Closes Lower at 7,757.21 Points
Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” Index closed today at 7,757.21 points, down by 18.2 points, or 0.23 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which ended at 7,775.42 points.
The total trading value reached RO 42,773,815, reflecting an increase of 8.5 percent compared to the previous session, which recorded RO 39,414,048.
According to the report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange, the market capitalization declined by 0.139 percent to reach approximately RO 37.07 billion.
Non-Omani investors recorded purchases worth RO 6,009,000, accounting for 14.05 percent of the total trading value, while their sales amounted to RO 7,031,000, representing 16.44 percent of total trading activity.
Net non-Omani investment registered a decrease of RO 1,022,000, equivalent to 2.39 percent.
