Brazil Beat Egypt 2-1 in World Cup Preparatory Friendly

Ohio: Brazil secured a 2-1 victory over Egypt in an international friendly match held at Huntington Bank Stadium as both teams continued their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Brazil took an early lead through Bruno Guimarães in the eighth minute, before Egypt equalized three minutes later through Mostafa Abdel Raouf (Ziko).

The winning goal came in the 53rd minute when Endrick Felipe found the net to hand the five-time world champions victory.

The match formed part of the final preparations for both teams ahead of the World Cup, which kicks off later this month.

Egypt will begin its campaign on 15 June 2026 against Belgium, before facing New Zealand and Iran in Group Seven.

Brazil, meanwhile, will open its Group Three campaign against Morocco, followed by matches against Haiti and Scotland.
