Muscat: The Muscat Stock Exchange (MSX) “30” Index closed today at 7,633.50 points, registering an increase of 15.2 points, or 0.2 percent, compared to the previous trading session, which ended at 7,618.29 points.
The total value of traded securities stood at RO 37.23 million, reflecting a decline of 3.9 percent compared to the previous session, which recorded RO 38.73 million.
According to the daily trading report issued by the Muscat Stock Exchange, the market capitalization increased by 0.48 percent from the previous trading day to reach approximately RO 36.82 billion.
Non-Omani investors purchased securities worth RO 2.40 million, accounting for 6.45 percent of total trading activity, while their sales amounted to RO 4.55 million, representing 12.22 percent of total trades.
As a result, net non-Omani investment recorded an outflow of RO 2.15 million, reflecting a decline of 5.77 percent.
The session ended with the benchmark index posting gains, while trading value recorded a slight decrease compared to the previous session.
